Experience

Responsibilities

Program Manager/Principal

(Two levels)

15-20+ years

Primary operational contact on large-scale projects. Plans, manages, supervises, and may participate technically in all projects within the regional office. Typically supervises multiple senior program managers/principals and/or discipline/project managers and staff. Makes technical and financial decisions.

Discipline Manager/Project Manager

(Three levels)

9-13+ years

Plans, directs, and usually participates technically in one or more projects regarding scope, schedule, and budget. Typically supervises one or more technical managers and staff; makes technical and financial decisions as appropriate.

Engineer/Scientist

(Eleven levels)

1-11+ years

Plans, manages, and/or participates technically in one or more projects involving design development, analysis, review, and specifications; analytic or scientific studies; conceptual, developmental, and planning functions; field survey; construction documents; mathematical formulations and equations; and investigative research and reporting. May supervise other employees.

Technician

(7 levels)

Entry-level – 7+ years

Supervises, coordinates, and/or performs technical support tasks with varying degrees of responsibility and supervision.

Administrative Support (7 levels)

5-9+ years

Manages and/or performs administrative support tasks with varying degrees of responsibility and supervision.

Management Consultant

(3 levels)

5-11+ years

Plans, manages, supervises, and/or performs tasks in strategic planning, organizational analysis, business information planning, client problem-solving, enterprise information requirements analysis, risk analysis, business continuity, and change management to effect organizational change and improve organizational performance. May supervise other employees and make decisions with varying degrees of authority.

Information Technology Personnel (8 levels)

Entry-level to 7+ years

Plans, manages, and/or performs tasks in IT facility operation and maintenance, systems development, systems analysis, automated information system design and integration, programming, backup and security, data conversion, CAD/CAM, network management, and other IT services with varying degrees of responsibility and supervision.
