Population growth, regulatory requirements, and aging infrastructure drive the need to improve and protect the nation's water resources. Protection and management of water resources starts at the watershed level and follows the movement of water through urban and agricultural areas, streams, lakes and reservoirs, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and water/wastewater treatment plants. Baker has innovative solutions for every component of the water cycle. We have helped federal, state, and municipal clients solve their water, wasterwater, and water resources challenges since the 1940s. Currently, we are working with clients worldwide on signature projects that range from mapping the nation's floodplains for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to planning and design services for water infrastructure in Mozambique.
