Michael Baker Jr., Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker Corporation (Amex:BKR), announced today that it has opened an office in Dallas, Texas.  This new location will augment the company's existing presence in Texas and further strengthens Baker’s ability to serve clients with extensive planning, architectural and engineering services in the region. Additional Baker office locations in Texas include Arlington, Austin, Denton, Houston, and San Antonio.

With more than 120 years of collective municipal, civil, and transportation experience, Baker’s team in Dallas will be led by Stewart, as office principal and leader of the municipal water and wastewater group, and Juan Contreras, P.E., assistant vice president, who will lead Baker’s transportation services group in both the City of Dallas and Collin County.
