Cooperative Education Program |

Objective: To provide undergraduate and graduate students in conjunction with colleges/universities a learning experience to enhance their career growth by applying academic concepts in a real-world professional environment while contributing to Baker’s mission of “creating value by delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for infrastructure and the environment.” Cooperative education is a paid opportunity which may provide academic credit that has a minimum of two working semesters. Students may have the opportunity to participate in a rotation schedule in different departments of Baker (e.g. – one term in transportation, next term in water, utilities, etc.). Minimum requirements for co-op’s include the following: - Enrolled as a full-time student in good academic standing at an accredited university or college
- Minimum one year of college coursework completed (i.e., - student entering sophomore year)
- Minimum 2.5 overall GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Current transcript provided by student
- Eligible for employment in the United States
- Meet any additional requirements of the attending college or university’s co-op program
