Michael Baker Jr., Inc., a unit of Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE MKT:BKR), has announced that Kenneth Paul Boone, P.E., has joined the firm as manager of construction services for the Indiana and Kentucky regional markets. In this position, Boone will provide leadership in quality oversight, client management, project execution, strategic planning, business development and marketing, as well as resource management for Baker’s construction management services in the Indiana and Kentucky regions. Boone, a twenty-plus-year industry professional, most recently served as project manager for the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) on Ohio River bridge projects.
Baker’s Tom Zagorski, P.E., senior vice president of the firm’s Construction Services Group, said, “Paul’s project background and leadership skills will produce positive results, particularly in our related bridge construction services work. His familiarity with both INDOT and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet projects, processes and people provides new insights to our efforts in these regional markets.”
Boone, who will be assigned to Baker’s Louisville, Ky., office, is a licensed Professional Engineer in Indiana, and resides in Georgetown, Ind. He obtained his BSCE and MECE from the University of Louisville’s Speed Scientific School.
